Terms of Service

Agreement

By using Waypoint (way.careers), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Waypoint is operated by Guildhall Recruitment Agency, registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The service

Waypoint provides career intelligence products including market maps, direct-reach strategy reports, and live intelligence monitoring. The service is designed for professionals seeking career opportunities globally. Specific deliverables, timelines, and features depend on the plan you purchase.

Accounts and access

You must provide accurate information when signing up. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Waypoint.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. All prices are listed in the currency displayed at the time of purchase. Market map and branding products are one-time purchases. Live Intelligence is a recurring monthly subscription at the rate displayed at the time of purchase.

All purchases are final and non-refundable. Waypoint deliverables — including market maps, career branding reports, AI-generated headshots, LinkedIn content, and intelligence reports — involve significant upfront research, AI processing, and personalised analysis that begins immediately upon purchase. Because these deliverables are produced specifically for you and cannot be resold, reassigned, or reused for another client, refunds are not available once work has commenced. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

For Live Intelligence subscriptions, you may cancel at any time — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds will be issued.

Gmail integration

If you choose to connect your Gmail account for the outreach feature, you authorise Waypoint to send emails from your address on your behalf. We only request permission to send — we do not read or access your inbox. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings or your Waypoint dashboard. Our use of Gmail data is governed by our Privacy Policy and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit Waypoint deliverables without prior written consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform beyond what is provided through normal use.
• Use the outreach feature to send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or any communication that violates applicable anti-spam laws.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person when using the service.

Intellectual property

Market maps, reports, and intelligence deliverables generated for you are yours to use for personal career purposes. The underlying methodology, algorithms, data sources, and platform technology remain the intellectual property of Waypoint / Guildhall Recruitment Agency.

Data and privacy

Your use of Waypoint is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data, including any Gmail data you choose to share.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Waypoint available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We reserve the right to update these terms — material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email.

No guarantee of employment

Waypoint is a career intelligence and branding tool — it is not a recruitment service, staffing agency, or job placement provider. Nothing in our deliverables — including market maps, branding reports, AI-generated headshots, LinkedIn content, outreach strategies, or live intelligence — constitutes a promise, representation, or guarantee of employment, interviews, callbacks, or any specific career outcome.

The information and materials we provide are intended to support and enhance your job search. Hiring decisions are made solely by employers and are influenced by factors outside our control, including but not limited to market conditions, employer requirements, and your own qualifications and performance. You acknowledge that purchasing Waypoint products does not entitle you to any employment outcome whatsoever.

AI-generated content

Certain deliverables, including professional headshots, LinkedIn content suggestions, and market intelligence summaries, are generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. While we strive for quality and accuracy, AI-generated content may contain imperfections, inaccuracies, or stylistic variations. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated materials before publishing or distributing them. Waypoint does not guarantee that AI-generated headshots will be an exact likeness, or that AI-written content will be factually complete. Use of AI-generated materials is at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waypoint and Guildhall Recruitment Agency, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, income, or reputation.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability, whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
